So I had a health screen done and it seems (they seem to think) that all of my issues stem from one particular thing and that is something that I eat. They think that I have non-celiac gluten sensitivity....so I am not to have gluten (starting immediately) for seven days to see if my symptoms disappear and if they do, they want me to see a nutritionist and if they don't they want me to do the same. Apparently it's pretty common and most people don't even know it.
Some of the symptoms are:
- depression
- ADHD like behavior
- abdominal pain
- bloating
- diarrhea
- constipation
- head aches and migraines
- bone and or joint pain
- chronic fatigue
- brain fog
I have every, single symptom. Uggggg. Last night I didn't have any gluten and I already freaking slept better and felt better after my meal. I'll miss you gluten, and hopefully you are the issue - because the other stuff listed it could be seems even more horrible. I'd rather have a sensitivity to it then have Celiac Disease or an allergy to wheat.....no offence to those that have it. I applaud your diet changes.
Okay, well here goes nothing.
xoxo, Lela
