FL to NC to FL again

Our beautiful, strong, amazingly smart and kind oldest son returned safely from Kuwait.  He was in staging/quarantine for fourteen days before we were able to see him.  We took off a few days, loaded up his truck and ours, and set our map to Fayetteville NC (Fort Bragg).

I feel so blessed and happy to have him back stateside.....and so does Olivia as you can see.

Moody Monday

So my moody Monday post today is going to be able lazy teenage boys.  I won't call any one of the two living in my house specifically but I will give you an idea of their entire day.

Wake up late, because they stayed up late.  Lay in bed, waking up for an hour.  Come out of the room at about 12:30pm at 1pm.  Make themselves a big bowl of cereal-sometimes two.  Scratch, adjust their junk while asking you how your day is going.  Put their bowl into the sink, return to the cesspool of a bedroom.  Have to be told to do their school work, wash that fing bowl they carelessly and stupidly put into the sink and brush their teeth.

That is my life, as a mom to teenage boys who are distance learning during COVID19 in America.

Christmas at Granny Johnson's

These photos pretty much sum up all these cousins.  Fun, wild, crazy, loving, caring and just straight up adorable.  We had such a fun Christmas Day with Granny Johnson this year, we are so blessed to have such an amazing family on all sides.  And we were lucky enough to have Gavin home for the season!

Happy 17th Kid

Well today is the 17th birthday of my baby, my youngest natural born child-my darling and sweet Weston.  He is such a good kid, funny-smart, kind-thoughtful, generous, loving.....I could go on and on.

He is with is dad this week, so we don't get to celebrate his actual birthday together-and I hope his dad gets him a cake-because 9 years ago to the day Weston asked me "Momma, are you going to get me a cake for my birthday this year, because without a cake it's just any other day!".  And I certainly do not want him to have a "just another day" kind of day on his birthday!

And some random photos of him growing up.....<3 but not baby photos......

First Day, 2019

Well, school is now back in session & the kids were pretty excited (even though you can't tell from the photos) to get back to school.  One cannot wait to learn, one cannot wait to see friends & one - well we are not sure what he cannot wait for lol.

I did my best to get first day photos-but with people who don't corporate it's hard-so here you go.

This first day of school happened to be Olivia's birthday too-so we made brownie cookie bars for her to share with her class...mmmmm
