Happy August, from Miss O

Decided to hook up my ol'lens to my ol'camera and take her for a quick mini-mini session with Olivia, so quick that we didn't even take the time to change her into something super cute or even brush her hair (or clip her nails (I am now seeing that needed to be done).  But I just haven't taking photos in so long I wanted to really give it a shot....Olivia was totally into it for the few minutes we were outside (it's hot BTW).....

Happy "Almost" Holidays!

So, the unthinkable happened.  My camera stopped functioning during a little mini session with my kiddos.  This caused me to have to turn down a few photo sessions this fall-which sucks because everyone loves a little extra cash around the holidays.

But the good news is, I did manage to get a few cute pics of the kids & the camera is fixable (away being fixed now) so in the meantime, please take a look at the photos I got of my sweet babes..(the ones left in the nest anyway).  As you can see from the photos-only one was willing to "model" for me lol

Blackberries

One thing Olivia loves to do every year in the spring/summer is to pick the wild blackberries we have growing in the lot next door to ours. I shouldn’t say we have growing, the earth has growing and we are lucky enough to enjoy!

She has been bugging me every day to go check out all the bushes to see if there are any blackberries yet. Of course they are just now flowering, so we don’t have any yet-but I did take a walk around the property last night and we held hands and talked about all the yummy blackberries she would eat-once they came in.

O&S

This past weekend we decided to let Olivia have a sleep over with her cousin Savannah.  Savannah is just a few months younger then Olivia.  They had a fun time, though they got on each others nerves rather a lot.  I would hear Savannah say "Olivia you're being so mean" and Olivia say "well stop snatching things from me...." and Savannah saying "well I was playing with it first..." but all in all-they had a great time once Olivia remembered how to share properly ;)

W X & O

Well, what can I say?  I have some sweet little kids (well not really so little anymore - Weston is as tall as me & Xander is catching up pretty quickly).  Where does the time go?  Seriously, please can someone please tell me?

I am late at posting this, these photos were taken before Christmas last year so I could hand them out as gifts - plus I do try to get pictures of the kids at least once a year all together - that is about all I can bring myself to do to the boys since they hate having their pictures taken so much. Olivia on the other hand, loves it until it's time-she loves the dressing up part - but not so much the sitting still and letting me photograph her part (LOL).  In due time, I hope-that will all change.  Especially since I am really just shooting for myself these days.......I really need them (her) to "model" for me more now then ever.....
